Sheep Drive & Wool Fair 30.Sept.2018

It is a Freeman’s right to drive sheep over London Bridge!

Sunday 30th September 2018

This year the famous Sheep Drive over London Bridge will be led Alan Titchmarsh MBE. A Freeman of the City of London, Alan will swap his trusty trowel for a shepherd’s crook to lead the sheep drive over London Bridge and open the Wool Fair at Monument. Hosted by the Worshipful Company of Woolmen, one of London’s oldest Livery Companies, the annual sheep drive raises tens of thousands of pounds for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.

The Sheep Drive is an opportunity for Freemen and their guests to practise an ancient rite and raise money for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal and the Woolmen’s Charitable Trust.

The Sheep Drive offers the Company a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the life of the civic City and to increase our profile and connections there.  To register your interest in joining this year’s drive please email
