Communicating in areas of conflict can have a profound impact on peoples lives. We have a fascinating talk from Rosie Stone, currently serving Deputy Commander (Reserve) 11th Signals and West Midlands Brigade in the rank of Colonel. Rosie will present on ‘The Use of Media & Communications in Countering the Threat of Violent Extremism’, a topic that forms part of her post graduate Master of Science Thesis at Cranfield University.

Rosie was Commanding Officer of the Media Operations Group from 2010 to 2013 following 12 years’ experience as a military PR and Strategic Communications specialist.

There will be drinks on arrival and a pay bar afterwards. Doors open at 6:30pm and the talk will begin promptly at 7:00pm.
A proportion of the evening’s proceeds will go towards the Company’s Charitable Trust.
