The Guild of Young Freemen invite members of the PR Company to join them at the their Installation Service and Banquet which will be held at the Guild Church of St Michael’s Cornhill and the Apothecaries’ Hall, by kind permission of the Master and Wardens of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries.
The evening will begin with a Service of Prayer and Blessing for the Guild and its new Master at St Michael’s, at the conclusion of which the Master, Wardens and Court will process to the Apothecaries Hall for dinner accompanied by Members and their guests. There will be a short ceremony of Installation at the Hall during which guests will be given a talk followed by a drinks reception and dinner. The Apothecaries’ Hall is the oldest Livery Hall in the City to survive in its initial design and is steeped in history.
The banquet will be attended by a number of City dignitaries representing the several Livery Companies and institutions associated with the Guild. As with all Guild banquets, the evening will be open to partners and guests.
The cost of the evening will be £90 per person to cover a 3 course dinner with wines, port, coffee, and chocolates. The dress code is Dinner Jackets with Decorations, or the Mess Dress equivalent for Serving Officers. Please note that Livery Badges are only to be worn by official guests on the night.
