The PR team working with the account executive is usually formed by a copywriter, a graphic artist and a publicist. The copywriter writes the news releases, creates the brochure’s content, inquiry letters intended for media representatives or any other writing tasks.
The publicist is the one who communicates with the media representatives in order to generate publicity for the client’s company. A good publicist needs to have contacts within journalists, talk show producers or high-profile bloggers. One of the publicist’s jobs is to find new venues for the client’s company to promote its services or products.
The visual support of the PR campaign is made by the graphic artist. All the printing materials used in the Public Relations venues are designed by the graphic artist. Such materials include press kit folders, letterheads, product packaging and many more. The company’s logo can also be designed by the graphic artist.
